Mold Removal

Mold.ca provides professional mold remediation services using Certified Mold Remediation Contractors. Once the scope of work is defined and agreed upon our certified team follows IICRC standards (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification).

What is mold remediation?  Mold remediation means to safely and efficiently remove all mold contaminated materials from the environment.  In some cases this can be done easily without the use of a certified mold contractor.  In other cases, the mold contamination is large enough that special procedures and equipment is required to remove mold safely while ensuring there is no risk of cross contamination.   A qualified mold inspector, using the right tools can help you determine if you need the services of a mold remediation contractor.  The criteria that determines if you need a professional mold company is largely based on the amount of mold contamination in your home or business.

Mold.ca’s team is meticulous in making sure all protocols and standards are followed to ensure that the work is done to the highest level of quality. We take great care to protect your home or business by laying protective covering’s down on all traffic areas leading in and out of our work zone.   A full containment area is created to ensure there is no risk of cross contamination. We use commercial grade negative air machines, HEPA air scrubbers to ensure all mold spores are contained within our work area and are safely vented outside your home.  By following these procedures we ensure that the mold is removed safely from your home with no risk of cross contamination.

All mold contaminated materials – down to the studs if necessary, are removed from your home. We make sure the scope of work ensures the job is done right the first time.  At the end of the project, if elected, we will perform a clearance test to verify that the remediated area is mold free and representative of a safe and healthy environment.
